Curious what stuff looks like?
The new book has a lot of rocks in it. People often ask me what they look like. Here are some examples.
Intersection Rock
The Flake is visible on the left. It goes up the chimney to the left-facing flake. Then it follows the path worn through the patina to the top, between the projecting roof visible far left and the chimney visible at the top-center.
North Astrodome
Location of the ultra-classic Figures on a Landscape.
View From Taxman
I think. I could be wrong. When characters are hanging out on ledges, talking, they’re seeing something like this.
The Wonderland
When they talk about the Wonderland, they mean something like this.
Moses Tower
When Dan and Tamma dream of climbing towers on The White Rim, they’re talking about stuff like Primrose Dihedrals on Moses.
